 EMT School
  • 250 hours of didactic & practical training to become an EMT
  • 10 hours of Emergency Room time
  • 30 hours of training to meet minimum mandatory training requirements by FPFAS
  • 24 hours of continuing education credits required for recertification
  • 24 hours of specialized refresher courses to renew EMT certification every 3 years
  • Students are required to pass
  • NJ STATE EMT COMPETENCY TEST passing makes you eligible to take NREMT.
  • NREMT COMPETENCY TEST (National Registry EMT
Passing NREMT enables a student to start their career as a volunteer or a paid Emergency Medical Technician.
