About us
The Florham Park Memorial First Aid Squad, Inc. was established in 1951 during a significant time in our nation's history, addressing the needs of returning soldiers facing traumatic and psychological injuries..
From the beginning, our squad has served as a living tribute to veterans, and we are committed to continuing that legacy. Over the past 70+ years, we have adapted to the increased service demands, changing landscape, higher educational standards and even a pandemic. As we move forward, we honor the bravery of our military service members, both past and present.

Florham Park EMS boasts a strong history of volunteerism, with 2026 marking our 75th anniversary. We have been self funded for the last 74 years, dependent on the generosity of our community to meet the operational needs we face. Donations have been crucial for the delivery of of 24/7 BLS ambulance coverage since inception. As a NJ State Licensed Agency, FPEMS remains a non=profit organization led by an all-volunteer Executive Board.
