Students are required to pass

NJ STATE EMT COMPETENCY TEST passing makes you eligible to take NREMT.

NREMT COMPETENCY TEST (National Registry EMT
Passing NREMT enables a student to start their career as a volunteer or a paid Emergency Medical Technician.
